Despite the fact that I have not been around for a while and I apologize for it, all I can say is… I really hope this time I am back for good.

This time I want to share with you one of my favourites photoshoots with my dearest friends from Hernand Dubois.  Whether you believe it or not we were able to shoot this in our lovely Guatemala. The key for this shoot was to get a top model to deliver exactly what we were looking for, and Silvana Toledo was perfect for it.

Thank you Silvana for being part of this and of course Hernan Dubois dynamic duo!

Today I want to share with you a #tbt portfolio.
I was really happy when we started discussing with Sammy what we wanted to do to show how versatile she can be. We came up with different looks and lucky enough the very talented accessories designer John Lemú (click here to see more of his work) helped us to bring something extra to her photos.
I tried to cover the three basic areas which are, commercial, editorial and catalog. The result is something I’m very proud of.

Silvia Yon make – up artist certified by MUD

I had the honor to be invited to work as a photographer at the make up academy MUD located in Guatemala city, it has been one of the most rewarding experiences.

I was able to see from first hand how a make up artist is born and also how much effort it takes to create the exact image the student has in the head or paper and put it into action. Today I’m showing you the portfolio of Silvia Yon. Every week she was chanllenge to create new make – up ideas, in fact she had to create two different looks for the same model in only two hours. I’m really happy I was able to be part of this process, thank you to Annie Morales, Director of MUD Guatemala for trusting me with this amazing project.

Morrigan and Lilith

As you may know already, cosplayers are a must for me to photograph. Today I will show you a set in which I had the honor to work with Kiefer-Ramius from Guatemala and Gabriela Navas also known as Maxwell Winner Havok from El Salvador. The costumes they made are really well detailed and very hard to wear however as pros they did an amazing job. hope you guys like it, share it, etc. See you next week!

Bars, Bars, Bars!!!

As you know I really enjoy photographing bars, maybe it is because I’m alone and I can work at my own pace. Whenever I get a job to photograph a bar; I play with the lighting, furniture etc. anything to bring out the best of the place. Editorial for social media

Fashion is one of my favorites types of photography. Whenever I get the chance to work with a designer; it excites me to create images that will make them even more proud about their work. I love to help them translate what is in their minds into portraits for their audience, Hernan Dubois (I invite you to see their awesome work) is a dynamic duo that has allowed me to add my own vision to their fashion. Now a days social media is very important for them as it is the best way to reach new customers.

We always work on ad campaigns and from those pictures we take their favorite pieces from the collection to create social media images. Hope you guys like it, share it, etc.

Misfit Toys

For a while I’ve been working on different projects, some photography related others not so much, however today’s release is a photoshoot that is very close to my heart.

I have never considered myself an average person and I don’t mean it in a conceited way, for me it truly means I normally don’t fit in. This has allowed me to look deep inside regular things and present my own vision of them. I’m very happy with the final result of this photoshoot, I not only had the privilege to work with an amazing makeup artist but met really awesome people that are so dedicated to bring entertaiment to everyone. The costumes were fabulous and how all the models got into character was something very important because it helped me to portray the images I had in my head. I want to thank to Marcel Entertainment for all the help, models, costumes and energy you put into it. I invite everyone to check their work. I also would like to thank to MARIAN MAKEUP ARTIST  she was able to deliver exactly what I had in mind for every character, check also her fan page.

After finding new ways, faces and inspiration; WPS is back!
There are tons of new projects I have worked on in the past months and I can’t wait to share!
That being said, I am really happy to introduce you to one of the new faces I have had the pleasure of working with; Eduardo González is not the typical guy, in my personal experience he is a warm helpful young man that has a style all his own and regardless of what other people say, he stays true to himself. After all isn’t that what life is about?

Make it shine

Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to drop by and check WPS web. Today I am happy to show a set from a very cute lounge I had the chance to photograph. Whether a place is big or small, always make sure to make it shine. Work with the furniture and find interesting angles that will make it sell. Remember when a client hires you, it doesn’t matter if you are photographing a pet or business place, you are photographing their baby, because let’s be honest if you start a business looking for that financial independence that is your baby and you just want to present it to world as shiny as it can be.
